Cookiebot pricing,
domain by domain.
Cookiebot charges each domain by its number of subpages, from €7 to €90 a month before VAT. This page sets out the tiers, what moves a site into a higher one, and what common setups cost, from Cookiebot's own pricing page.
This page covers Cookiebot Core, the plans Cookiebot prices per domain. Cookiebot's pricing page also lists Usercentrics Advanced, with traffic based plans for growing businesses and enterprises through its sales team. That product is not covered here.

How Cookiebot counts subpages
A subpage is any unique URL on your domain. Cookiebot says it does not charge based on page views or usage. Its scanner crawls your site every month and records how many pages it finds, and the monthly price is calculated from the highest page count recorded in your scan history.
If, at the end of a billing cycle, the scan finds more subpages than your plan allows, the subscription moves up to the next tier automatically. On Premium you cannot choose a tier yourself: Cookiebot assigns it from the scan. The number to check before you buy is how many unique URLs your site has, not how many visits it gets.
Domains, subdomains and www
Each domain is evaluated and billed separately, and Cookiebot treats every subdomain as its own domain. Its pricing page gives these examples:
- example.com, it.example.com and uk.example.com are three domains, each with its own subscription.
- example.com/en, example.com/it and example.com/da are one domain.
- example.com and www.example.com should be added as one domain. Adding both means paying for both.
Accounts with four or more domains added by the first invoice get Premium Small at €15 a month for domains with fewer than 350 subpages. With one to three domains, a small domain is billed on Premium Medium at €30. The Free plan and Premium Lite each apply to one domain only.
VAT and currency
Cookiebot shows its prices in euros, excluding VAT where applicable. It charges local VAT to customers in the EU, except companies with a valid VAT number, which are reverse charged. That exception does not apply to Danish companies. Customers outside the EU are not charged VAT.
The pricing page also lets you switch the currency to the Swiss franc, Danish krone, pound sterling, Norwegian krone, Polish złoty, Swedish krona or US dollar. This page quotes the euro prices.
What four setups cost on Cookiebot
Monthly prices before VAT, worked out from the plans above. Traffic does not change any of these figures.
| Setup | Cookiebot plan | Price a month |
|---|---|---|
| One site with 40 subpages | Premium Lite. Free also fits if you use no Premium features. | €7, or €0 on Free |
| One site with 1,200 subpages | Premium Medium | €30 |
| Three sites with 200 subpages each | Premium Medium on each domain, because the account has fewer than four domains | €90 |
| Four sites with 200 subpages each | Premium Small on each domain | €60 |
What Velo charges instead
Velo prices by monthly sessions, not by pages or domains. A session is one visit. Free covers one site and 2,000 monthly sessions. Pro covers unlimited sites with one session allowance for the whole account: €7 for 7,500, €12 for 20,000, €19 for 50,000, €29 for 100,000, €49 for 250,000 or €79 for 500,000. Velo prices are in euros and exclude VAT. Source: Velo pricing.
Which model costs less depends on your sites. A small site with heavy traffic can cost less on Cookiebot. Several sites, or a large catalogue with modest traffic, can cost less on Velo. Our Cookiebot alternative page compares the two feature by feature and prices the same setups on both.
Questions about Cookiebot pricing
How much does Cookiebot cost a month?
Cookiebot Core costs €0 to €90 a month per domain before VAT on monthly billing. Free covers one domain with up to 50 subpages. Premium runs from €7 for one domain with fewer than 50 subpages to €90 for a domain with 7,000 subpages or more. Prices checked on 6 October 2026.
Does Cookiebot charge per domain?
Yes. Each domain and each subdomain needs its own subscription, priced by its subpage count. Language folders such as example.com/en count as part of the same domain.
Does traffic change the Cookiebot price?
No. Cookiebot says it does not charge based on page views or usage. The price follows the number of unique URLs its scanner finds, and the highest count in your scan history sets the monthly price.
Do Cookiebot prices include VAT?
No. They are in euros and exclude VAT where applicable. EU customers pay local VAT unless they are a company with a valid VAT number, and customers outside the EU are not charged VAT.
Is there a Cookiebot free trial?
Yes. New accounts get a 14 day trial of Premium features for one domain, with no credit card needed. After the trial, a site with fewer than 50 subpages that uses no Premium features can stay on the Free plan.
