The cookie banner
built for Wix.
Wix gets your site live fast. Velo keeps it compliant just as fast: one line in Settings → Custom code, and your site has a proper consent banner, Google Consent Mode v2, and region rules for the EU, UK and US. No developer, about ten minutes.
Compliant, fast,
nothing lost.
Open Settings → Custom code, paste the snippet into the head of all pages, apply, reload. That is the whole install. Prefer to keep everything in Google Tag Manager? The gallery template works on Wix the same as anywhere else.
How it goes live
on Wix.
Three steps, about ten minutes.

01
Paste the snippet
In Wix, open Settings → Custom code and add the Velo snippet to the head of all pages. Or add the Velo template in Google Tag Manager if you run one.

02
Denied by default, banner up
Velo sets the Google Consent Mode v2 denied default before any other tag runs, then shows the banner. Nothing non essential fires until the visitor chooses, and every choice lands in the audit log.

Verify and forget it
Check the consent signals flip in Tag Assistant or your browser, publish, and you are done. Region rules, records and Google's modelling run on their own from here.
Wix questions,
answered.
What teams putting a banner on Wix ask first.
Is this the same thing as Velo by Wix?
No. Velo by Wix is Wix's own developer platform for writing code inside the Wix editor. This Velo is an independent consent management platform by Amplio Data: a cookie banner and Google Consent Mode v2 layer that happens to install on Wix sites in minutes. Same name, different products.
Does Velo work on the free Wix plan?
Custom code on Wix requires a plan with a connected domain, so you need a premium Wix plan to add any third party script, Velo included. On any paid Wix site the install is one paste.
Do I need Google Tag Manager on my Wix site?
No. The snippet works on its own through Custom code. If you already run Tag Manager, use the Velo template from the community gallery instead and keep your whole measurement stack in one place.
What does Consent Mode v2 do for a small site?
It is what keeps Google Ads and GA4 measuring legally in the EEA, and it lets Google model the conversions declined visitors no longer report. Across Amplio Data client implementations that recovers 20–40% of consent hidden conversions. Measured ranges, not a guarantee.
